Kat Gang -  An exciting example of the current, talented waive of contemporary singer/songwriters, Kat Gang delivers her unique brand of jazz-influenced contemporary music with a sparkle which always has her ever increasing audience calling for more.

From her unique take on the traditional jazz standards to her soulful interpretations of the music of Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones and even the Arctic Monkeys, this Boston born vocalist has been winning diverse audience appreciation in theatres, clubs, restaurants and even bateaux on London’s river Thames.

Despite an extremely busy year working, on average, 5 nights a week, Kat has also found time this year to put the finishing touches to her fourth album, due for release early 2010.

Still only 27, she has been working on her craft in the UK for the past four years. Her talent is such that she has been in constant demand and has worked with many of Europe’s leading figures in jazz music in big bands, nonets, as part of an eight piece Ella Fitzgerald tribute and with her own trio and quartet.

Her passion for jazz was developed at the famed Berklee School of Music in Boston and she honed her skills further at New York University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in drama and voice. A spell as leading singer and dancer on the Queen Elizabeth II, brought her to England four years ago and she hasn’t looked back since. Now living and singing in New York city, she is in constant demand.
